You must hold a current, valid UK driving licence (provisional or full) and produce it on or before your first driving lesson. You must also supply a licence check code along with the last 8 digits of your driver number. See www.gov.uk/licencecheckcode for details. This must be produced at least 48hours before your first lesson. Failiure to produce this code will result in the lesson not going ahead and the full lesson fee being forfeited. You must be fit to drive. Your instructor will check your eyesight on your first lesson. You must be able to read a car number plate from a distance of 20 metres with glasses or contact lenses if you wear them. It is also your responsibility to have regular eye check ups and report any deterioration of eyesight to your eyecare professional for advice as to fitness to drive.
You must inform your instructor of any medical condition that may affect your ability and or eligability to drive. If in doubt please consult your healthcare professional.
You must immediately inform your instructor of any change in your eligibility to hold a licence either through changes in health,eyesight or any motoring convictions.
